A delightful, romantic and spacious one bedroom Grade II listed thatched cottage dating back to the 17th Century, in the
Royal Village of Barnwell, near Oundle, East- Northamptonshire on the border of Cambridgeshire.
Exposed beams, some low doorways, a large inglenook fireplace with an AGA wood burner, spacious living room with oak
flooring. Freeview TV with DVD/CD, Roberts radio with iPod docking station and Free Wi-Fi facilities, books, maps and DVDs.
A large well-equipped kitchen and air conditioned conservatory leads to a secluded walled Willow woven enclosed patio at the
back, with a comfortable seating area, which catches the morning sun. The bedroom will have from December onwards a
kingsize four poster bed.
The front garden, with a patio and seating arrangement just catches the evening sun, overlooks the willow covered brook and
the Nene Way long distance foot path. If you are lucky you might just hear the whistle of he red kite or catch a glimpse of the
resident kingfisher. We are pet friendly.
